Student Organization Matching Funds

Jacobs School Dean's Office Matching Funds Program

Engineering student organizations participating in project-based competitions hosted by recognized professional engineering organizations may apply for the Jacobs School Dean's Office Matching Funds Program. Funds raised by the student organization will be considered by a selection committee for matching on a dollar-for-dollar basis, up to $4,000.

Matching Funds Documents

  • Program Guidelines - Provides the rules and regulations governing the Matching Funds Program. By applying for Matching Funds, project teams acknowledge that they have read and understand these guidelines.

  • Sample Proposal 1 and Sample Proposal 2 - Note that these are provided only as examples of a complete proposal, including budget and faculty letter. Samples do not show the proof of funds which must also be included in your proposal.

  • APPLICATION - Due by Monday, December 22 at 2:00pm in the IDEA Student Center in EBU1-1400 or to idea@soe.ucsd.edu.

  • Sample Final Report 1 and Sample Final Report 2 - Note that these are provided as examples of a complete final report.
