Scott B. Baden
Professor, Computer Science and Engineering
High performance and parallel scientific computation. Professor Baden's research interests are in large scale scientific computation: parallel computation, algorithms, irregular data structures, run time optimization, and performance characterization. Baden works extensively with colleagues in applied fields such aschemistry, fluid dynamics, and biology with applications to cell physiology, subsurface modeling, turbulence study, and ab-initio molecular dynamics. Baden teaches parallel computation at the graduate and undergraduate level, and compilers.
